I will be buying more of these 17-rd magazines, as I am VERY impressed with them, and I’d recommend them over the 15’s any day. Like my two 15-rd mags, it’s made by Mec-Gar, which is a name I, like many others out there, have come to trust. It’s lightweight, but made of very sturdy material. Fully loaded, it doesn’t give the gun any unneeded restrictions or weight/balance issues. I makes the hand grip look a bit elongated, which, actually is pretty cool. This 17-rd mag is my “go-to” magazine when I go to the range. So, I bought another, and will buy more in the future. I used various 9mm rounds from various makers, at various loads, just to see if I’d be buying another. It’s a sturdy magazine that handled any 9mm round I threw its way. I spent two hours putting rounds in this mag and popping them off. I bought the first one from DK Firearms at a very reasonable price. Needing extra mags, I broke down and began searching for the 17-rd mags. I had seen many of the 17-rd mags, but really didn’t want one. At first, I was shopping around for the 15-rd for my Taurus G3, but on the web, they were mostly sold out. It’s so nice to have guidance ready when you need it. They are a great group of people who will baby-step you through your purchase, and who will stand by you until the end. I wanted the 15-round mag that came standard with my Taurus G3, but they’re hard to find. near Dallas Innovation in North Texas got a huge boost today with.
